VISA CHANGES FOR SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS:
All South African visitors to New Zealand will require visitor visas from the 21 November this year.
SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 BAN
Following the global recall by Samsung of its Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, most airlines are enforcing a total ban of these devices on board their aircraft.
This device may not be carried in checked-in baggage, in cabin baggage or on their person.
Airlines who have enforced the ban include and are not limited to:
- South African Airways
- Ethiopian Airlines
- Air Canada
- Singapore Airlines
- Emirates
- Etihad
- Cathay Pacific
- Qantas
MINORS TRAVELLING ABROAD
As of 01 June 2015, minors (children under the age of 18) travelling abroad must be in possession of an Unabridged Birth Certificate.
This must be presented to airport staff along with other travel documents (passports, visas etc.). Failure to present this document will result in the denial of boarding.
